Great in practice, falling apart in matches? It's not talent. It's confidence under pressure, and it can be trained.
Online mentorship for high school and junior college players. Limited roster.
If you saw the video
I trained with my own coach, on a program built for my game and my goals, instead of waiting on a coach with a full roster to figure out what I needed. That's what this mentorship is: your own plan, your own coach, and the confidence to use it when the match is on the line.
For parents
Warm-ups look like a different player than the match.
One bad point turns into a bad game, then a bad set, and they can't find their way back.
Some matches end in tears, or in a quiet that you can't reach.
You’ve tried the pep talk, the extra lesson, and another drill. The next match looks the same.
If any of that's your kid, the problem was never talent. Nothing they've tried was built for the match.
They don't need to hit more balls. They need a way to handle the moment, taught by someone who has been in those moments at the highest level.
If it doesn't hold up at 40–30, you don't own it.
The mentorship
Playing well in practice and falling apart in matches is a skill gap, not a character flaw. We train it in three parts.
This is performance coaching, not therapy. If a player needs more support than that, I'll tell you.
Weekly priorities and drills built around their game and school schedule, so they always know what to work on next.
Real answers from a pro on the decisions that move a player forward: how to win a lineup spot, which colleges to target, which tournaments to play, and how to raise a UTR. Parents are welcome and stay in the loop.

Frequently asked questions
A lesson once a week gives you sixty minutes with a coach and six days alone. The old habits are usually back by midweek, and nobody sees what happens in your matches, which is where the problem is.
Online mentorship works the other way around. You send footage from real practices and real matches, Jabari reviews it, and you get a plan for what to fix next. The feedback keeps going all week, not just for one hour. You get a pro-level coach no matter where you live, there's no driving or court fees, and parents can see exactly what's being worked on and why.
You send video from practice or matches. Jabari breaks it down, updates your training plan and match routines, and answers your questions. You work the plan, send new footage, and we adjust.
Consulting on the decisions that move a player forward:
Yes, in the way that actually lasts. UTR is built from your match results, so the way up is winning more matches against the right opponents. Jabari helps you improve how you compete and plan which events and matches give you the best chance to show your level. Results can't be guaranteed, but you'll have a clear plan.
Yes. The mentorship is not a replacement for your team. Keep showing up to practice and matches. Jabari works on your individual plan and confidence, so you bring more to the team and have something specific to point to when you ask for a higher spot.
As involved as you want. Parents are welcome on the application, can see the plan, and stay in the loop on progress. The player does the work, and the parent knows what's going on and why.
A phone is enough. Prop it on the fence or behind the baseline. Match footage is best, but practice is a good start. Jabari will walk you through the angles after you're accepted.
No. It's performance coaching: routines, resets, and a plan for pressure moments. If a player needs more support than that, Jabari will tell you.
Apply using the button on this page. Jabari reviews every application personally. The roster is limited so each player gets real attention.
